UpRising School Network

Providing a supportive platform for staff in special schools, specialist and alternative provision to share experiences and connect with peers and experts in special education music | Wednesday 14 May

uprising web logoThe Special School Network offers Special Education music leads, teachers, and teaching assistants a supportive space to engage in free training, share experiences, and network with other educators and invited experts in the field of special education music.

Featured in the next meeting

Our feature this term will be hearing from colleagues in the region that are both qualified music therapists and classroom practitioners, discussing:

  • How has their learning from the former informed the latter?
  • What are their go-to activities that support regulation, engagement and increased well being that also support musical outcomes?

This is an underexplored area and we think will be of great practical use to colleagues.
