This accessibility statement applies to mehem.org only. This website is run by Derbyshire County Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

How accessible is this website

Content that's not within scope of the accessibility regulations
The Music Education Hubs East Midlands (MEHEM) website is required to be fully accessible by September 2020.
Videos
Some of our videos lack captions and do not meet accessibility standards. The accessibility regulations do not require us to add captions to videos produced before 23 September 2020 if they're not essential to providing our services. Any new videos we publish will meet accessibility standards.
Live video
We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.

The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2019 if they're not essential to providing our services.
How we tested this website
We tested this website in the following ways:
- WCAG 2.1 compliance using a third-party automated service (scanned every 5 days and reviewed regularly)
- regular testing using a suite of browser-based accessibility reporting tools
- colour contrast checkers were used during the design phase
What we're doing to improve accessibility
We are undertaking a comprehensive review of all Derbyshire County Council websites and services to test, identify and fix accessibility issues.
