Discover how the National Gallery’s Take One Picture CPD framework fosters creativity and diversity in schools across the UK. This interactive session presents a unique approach that blends visual art with song, storytelling, and theatre.

Conference delegates will take part in the initial creative workshop—crafting lyrics inspired by a National Gallery exhibition painting while exploring the works of historic and contemporary composers.

Tim Clay

Following training at LIPA, Beth has been working in Music Education since 2008 as both a Music teacher with QTS and as a vocal specialist.

From 2014, Beth worked as Head of Vocal Studies for the Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust (NMPAT). During this time, Beth oversaw thousands of vocal students, hundreds of performances and project managed large scale musical events. She also wrote NMPAT’s Primary Vocal Curriculum delivered across Key Stages 1-2.

Beth promotes an individualised approach to music education with a focus in equality, diversity and inclusion in all areas of her work. Based in vocal health, the services she offers are tailored to the needs of the organisation or individual client.
