Lucy Reid

Lucy has dedicated her career to music education, beginning as a peripatetic woodwind and piano teacher before joining Nottinghamshire County Council’s Arts Support Service in 2001. She later became Training Coordinator and led the Instrumental Teaching Service.

Since 2017, Lucy has been Music Services Manager for Inspire, overseeing Nottinghamshire’s teaching service and Music Hub. She continues to teach in both primary and secondary settings, staying closely connected to the classroom.

Passionate about giving every child a meaningful musical experience, she believes in the power of music to create lasting memories and inspire young people through performance and creativity.
